UNM Inspections
The function of Trade Inspection is to oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of facility infrastructure systems on The UNM campus. They manage contract repair projects and programs, ranging from small repairs to larger projects. Responsibilities include inspecting construction work, evaluating quality and compliance, monitoring plant conditions, coordinating inspections, and assisting engineers. They also verify contractor work, promote safety practices, and design projects. Acting as the university's representative, they communicate with state agencies, hold permits, and expedite reviews and inspections. Additionally, they assist technicians, evaluate workplace safety, and perform assigned duties.
